Go to internet options and advanced and switch to software rendering if you haven't already clean installed.

Not sure if this is just on mine
When in tablet mode you cannot access anything on the desktop, its all greyed out
That's because there's suppose to be no desktop environment on tablet mode. It should switch to Start Screen mode where things like Recycle Bin behaves like an app and not a desktop item.
    Thanks
So on my touch laptop, where I want full screen apps as the default, there is no way to do this and keep the desktop

not sure I like this direction, there is no way 10 will go on my windows tablet if the desktop is disabled

There should be an easy way to switch between environments but I haven't tested it myself. In Action Center you are suppose to toggle Tablet Mode on and off to switch between desktop and "start screen".

Anyone else having a problem with video drivers in 9926? I've got an MSI GS60 laptop with both Intel HD 4600 and Nvidia 970m. I allowed the upgrade to do it's thing and install all drivers, basically I didn't touch it at all. But after reboot both video drivers were disabled. I tried all the usual uninstall, delete system drivers, reinstall. Also tried reverting to previous Intel drivers. Could not get them to enable and stay enabled after reboot. I could sometimes get one or the other enabled, and I even got them both enabled a couple times but after every reboot it disables them both. Even when enabled they were not functioning correctly. Had to rollback to 9841.

    Disappointed because I was looking forward to trying it out. Did notice a few bugs regarding the Start Menu while I had it installed. No way to adjust Start menu size. Customize options grey'd out. Problem with Apps reinstalling themselves automatically. Some internet connection issues were it was not importing my "Connected MSN Profile" at login. (Not keeping my profile wallpaper for the boot login);

Your laptop was designed for 8.1, hope that`s a spare drive you`re using.

Here is what I did with mine.. how is that not customized??
Admittedly, you HAVE customized the "metro" part of the Start Menu to include your tiles, arranged as you want them.

My major disappointment with this build is that (1) you can't shrink down the width of the Start Menu, (2) the Start Menu stays the same width even if ALL the tiles are removed, and (3) the All Apps list is very different than in the previous builds. True "customization" should allow us to adjust the width of the Start Menu and to specify which "type" of All Apps list we want -- the new Win10 style, or the previous "Win8" style.

Does anyone else have this thing called "RelevantKnowledge" running in the background? What is it? I don't remember installing or activating it. First time I saw this on Windows 10.

Is there anything designed for Windows 10? Considering it hasn't been released yet?

I didn't see that, but I saw something else called Melon v3.??, which I discovered is maybe part of the notification system?

Also came across a "Games" program on the Start Menu that was from WildTangent. Isn't that a spamware company?

It should be the other way around. Windows 10 should be designed to support existing hardware or else no one will be able to test it. No one will shed out $$$$ just to test/run Win 10.

    That`s a joke right

But seriously.... I only said it because of your graphics issue.

Laptops are always different when it comes to a new OS, they can be very fussy or not cooperate at all.
