    Windows 10 Start Menu....Resolution?? Build 9879

I've been using Windows 10 since the first build release; dualing booting with Windows 8.1. No problems.

Since I've upgraded to Build 9879, everything on the start menu is just so much bigger. I really dislike it. Even the font on the Log on and lock screen is bigger. It seems as though the resolution is just messed up.

Everything else on the laptop shows great but the start menu is really starting to bug me now. It picks up the majority of my screen. I thought it was a problem with the installation so I even refreshed the PC and it went back to the previous build. I updated again but the "problem" is the same.

is this a problem or is this Microsoft's doing in the new build?

And, I just noticed as I'm typing this that I cannot pin folders to the start menu anymore.

Edit. Seems to be only one drive folder that cannot be pinned... But that is still syncing so I'll get back to that later...

Thanks in Advance for the assistance.

    Try:
    PC Settings/PC and devices/Display/More options,
    or
    zPCSettings/System/Display/More options
It also depends on your resolution whether it works or not.

I don't have that build yet but I like the looks of it. Being half blind that larger start would help me a lot. I am having real trouble with the smaller version. That's why I prefer the 8.1 start after all. Especially on a 10" tablet it makes a big difference.

My guess would be that they have enlarged it for the tablet users (unless it is rerally a bug - useful bug, LOL). Hitting the right thing on the smaller version must be quasi impossible without a stylus.

These settings I mentioned have not been working for me the past few days, but I'm pleased to discover that changing your DPI scaling includes the immersive UI now! :)
