Getting rid of the old files

I saved the 10586 .esd and did a checkdisk to remove last build. This erased ~BT folder and windows.old. The ~ws folder remains. I am guessing it is safe to remove and that I have to do this manually?

There are 2 other files on on the C:, any body see any harm in removing them, both are 0 KB.

At the bottom of all apps, I have this entry, does not seem to do anything, is this normal?

Try running cleanmgr.exe (Disk Cleanup) as administrator, see if it still shows anything related to previous Windows installations.
If it does, just use Disk Cleanup to delete everything, and then check again to see if the ~ws folder is still there.

Disk Cleanup should remove those two 0KB files as well.

    Hi All,
I too have installed the latest windows insider build (10586), I guess I thought eventually Microsoft would automatically delete the windows.old folder, but so far they haven't. Now I'm seriously considering removing myself as windows 10 seems to be getting more and more 'polished'. What are other user's in here doing ??
    Thanks,
    David

Staying with the Insider program. Even after the is released, there will be additional Insider releases so I want to see them as early as possible, plus I get bored otherwise.

Tx for input. 0KB files remain, will just delete normal. Any idea on my OP as to what the very last item is when I select All Apps? it resides at the very bottom, does not respond to any clicks etc. @(windstore...
