"We need to restart your PC before you can start"

I enabled Insider builds and it told me to reboot:

No matter how many times I try rebooting, either normally or by this button, it still asks me to reboot to start getting Insider builds! Any suggestions?

Try total shut down and boot again.

Good idea. I wonder if it worked.

OK good. I see you have Home edition. Not sure if that's an Insider edition any longer. That may be the problem. There was a member that just a few minutes ago upgraded to Pro through the Store for free. You may want to try that. I'll check for sure how he did this. I imagine press the "Change key" button. I'll check.

Nope, you need to press Go to Store and then Upgrade.
