How to Change the Registered PC Owner in Any Version of Windows

You could change it, or leave it, as you wish - it is only some text - as HG says I wouldn't worry about it

Now you mention it mine used to say "Windows User" during some earlier insider builds but I've clean installed so it has got overwritten with my name at some point.
Thank you for all your help. I decided to change it and see what happens, it's just text and can be easily replaced, it has nothing to do with ownership or activation, thanks for the link

Now this is interesting indeed. The only place my last name would be registered in my MS account is my Bank card. Do you have one registered in your MS account? How about the name of your account? I only used the first letter of my last name. That was years ago.
