    So far

So far I've only noticed a couple of new things:

    • A new notification button
    • A new keyboard/language swap button
    • In the Task Manager:
      • The description of my network changed
      • An IPv6 address appeared

Speaking of IPv6, what does the "%2" at the end of the address indicate?

Just installed 9860 everything looks good so far, there was no error message on shutting down. Now I'd like to try it on my little Mac in Parallels.

Oh yeah, no beef, just Chicken.

Window Snapping seems to be totally broken in my VM.

Windows seems to turn it off if it doesn't think you machine is powerful enough. Check your performance options and make sure "Show windows contents while dragging" is selected. It was this way in the last preview as well.

And you are the reason why Microsoft spent years keeping betas secret... Afraid people would jump to conclusions about the finished product based on the unfinished one.

Let's hope most people understand the situation.
    Very good point.

If one can't understand this is the beginning stages of W-10 and not the end product. Well they are to confused to even be testing this new product.

    Thanks. :)
My "Performance Options" settings haven't changed.

I didn't have to turn that on in my VM in b9841 (I normally turn a lot of those settings off).
The same is true for the "Experimental" Command Prompt features.

Maybe the b9860 changes have had some effect on VMware Player.
I can't "Copy & Paste" between the VM and Host anymore, but I can "Drag & Drop".

    I'll try rebooting.

    Update
Rebooting seems to have fixed the Window Snapping issue. :)

It's weird becuase I know that I rebooted it to complete the update and I shut it down when I went to bed, so it had to boot up "from scratch".

    Hi

Well, I predict that Window 10 will be a big success.
Just like 7 after Vista, people will love Windows 10 because it makes sense is easy to use, feels like Windows.

On the new features, the one thing that I found was a way to make the Start Menu type bigger.
I don't think you could do this in the early version.

I at least think it is a vast improvement over Windows 10 and I think I may even like it better then Windows 7.
    It certainly runs faster.

    PC Settings.

    PC and Devices

    Display

    More Options.

    Select Large

For my eyes it's an improvement.

It seems that way to me too.

I will be surprised if it doesn't outperform the W8 series sales.

My W10 VM seems to run faster (VMware Player on Linux Mint 17) than my "real" W7 does.

My W7 has really slowed down this past 6 months (updates?).

    Update
The Window Snapping issue has reappeared.
Some random combination of actions must be causing it.
I thought that it might have been Pale Moon, but after a restart I was able to snap it and some File Explorer windows.
