    Windows Updates


    Since the install of Insider Preview 11102, there are no Windows updates installed.

    Does that happen to everyone ?

    This just started for me on Preview 14257.rs1 (160131-1800) where there are no updates in the history, though Windows Defender does stay current. I'm thinking that there's just something glitchy with the update log file...

    Although, through Control Panel -> View Installed Updates: the only updates listed are all for Visual Studio 2015 which I did manually through VS2015

    Insider Preview 14257

    I have come to conclude that this is normal.
    There are no updates for the preview build other than the WD definition updates and the Visual C+ which ever is applicable to your OS.

    It's normal because the updates via the insider program come much fast and there's no real need to have updates in between insider build drops.. well other than defender updates.

MS Defender updates from Windows Update in settings fail, other Updates successful, but MS Defender from Control panel can update the same definition updates without problems (why, oh, why? can't I just select and copy from settings? :()...
