After upgrading my Hp Laptop to Windows 10 build 10547 my laptop restarts randomly

The error message is "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you. If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this errorRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL(i8042HDR.SYS)"

Sounds like a keyboard issue. Go into device manager and delete your keyboard, then reboot and let Windows install the standard keyboard driver.

Thanks simrick, but when I cannot even enter the PIN at startup! when I try to type the PIN it restarts and pops up same message again and again, just on touching the keyboard!

eewwww.... can you somehow plug in a spare external keyboard and see if you can enter the pin that way?

Or, can you hold down the shift key and click on restart, to get into safe mode?
