    @celine2456,
Do you log into the user account on the computer with your Microsoft Insider email and password?

Please go to Settings>Accounts>Your account and see if it says you need to login, or "fix" your account.

I cannot stop the Insider buils... it's greyed out.
What if I uninstalled the last "evaluation version"?

Ok. Another option... Download the exact same version of Windows 10 that you have now... Like Home 32bit or Pro 64bit, whatever version you have. Download the Windows 10 ISO using the Media Creation Tool.

Mount the ISO and run setup.exe in it. Just do an in place "upgrade" from Windows 10 to the exact same version. It should not ask for a product key. If it does stop and cancel the "upgrade" because you probably have the wrong version ISO downloaded.

Just let me make sure I understand the meaning of your instructions: "Just do an in place "upgrade" from Windows 10 to the exact same version". Do you mean that I install it over the version I have now?

What is "mounting the ISO" ?

I downloaded the tool. Do I "upgrade this pc now" or do I "Create an installation support for another PC"???

Installation for another PC. Then just save the ISO file. Then you will right click on the ISO file and click mount. You will get a new drive letter, like E:\. Run setup.exe from the new drive letter.

It should not ask for a product key if you got the right version. That will reinstall Windows 10 over what you have now, you won't lose anything. Then you can reenter the insider program and hopefully it will be fixed.

    Good morning,

As promised, here I am after reinstalling Windows 10 and I'm not sure it was a good idea because now it doesn't recognize my graphic card and my second monitor.

I cannot see the Insider version th1 10240 anymore because Insider Hub doesn't work anymore.

I'm trying to fix the graphic card and monitor stuff and will see if I remain with this setup or if I go back to the previous version.

Have a good day and thanks again for your great help.

Part 2: I came back to the previous version (th1 10240) and my resolution problem is fixed. BUT I'm still at the wrong version of the Insider Program.

If anyone has other suggestions, I'll be pleased to try them when I get back on Sunday afternoon.

Thanks a lot and have a great day!

thanks for working hard to help me
You have to delete that DWORD and not just change it. Then restart your machine.
