    Loaded very easily, but none of the apps work and nor does the apps store. Clearly something has gone wrong, and looking at others comments my problem is not too usual. The problem is that there are no error messages.
    You could try going back to the previous version and do the upgrade again avoiding Windows updates, you can do the updates after installing your drivers.

    Several modern apps on Insider Preview Build 10532 are not working properly for me. NextGen Reader and Readily do not load the article feeds. Poki for Pocket closes after loading. Uninstall / restart / reinstall does not correct the problems. Others have also reported these problems on Windows Feedback and on the Store entries.

    All sorts of problems with apps that I was unable to resolve and finally just did a clean install.

    I'm not able to launch the Start Menu, Edge, Store, Action Center, Search, or Cortana with the mouse or hot keys. It's as if this build thinks my PC is a tablet for these functions. Everything else works as advertised.

    I must be the only one experiencing this since I posted this issue in this forum a few days ago and have not received a single reply. Wondering if there is a registry entry for "Tablet Mode" that I could change.

    There is a tablet mode when selected can cause some behaviors such as you have,

    Thanks for replying Charlie, but I am unable to launch Action Center with the mouse or Win+ A. I snuck into Settings by clinking on Windows Defender and selecting Settings from its interface. From there I got to Tablet Mode, but it was just for settings, nothing about turning it off or on.

    dr, Have you tried the sfc/scan https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...0-a.html?ltr=S
    Some links at the bottom of the tutorial to some other system fixes. Sorry the simple fix was no help to you. Good luck to you my friend :)

    Doesn't seem 'horrible' to me at all. Perhaps a bit 'roomy', but with my tired old eyes that's not a bug - it's a feature!

    Experience with it is okay. There's a number of improvements but many are still 'buggy' but, that's what makes it a preview and not a release.
    I appreciate how creating Desktop shortcuts generates a dedicated icon automatically:
    @Edwin:

    Thanks for sharing this information. Good enough to try it. Looks like something I ask them to do.
