More than likely spacing was added for touchscreen use. Trying to use context menus with a touch interface and my fat fingers was almost impossible.

I use a stylus or a keyboard and mouse. Makes for a less smudged up screen.

True, I use a keyboard and mouse on both my PCs (1 test and one active use) and my laptop. But on the tablet, no keyboard or mouse. I can't wait until they push this out to production so I can use the extra room on the tablet's menus.

Yes, it's almost identical to the changes Google made to its Chrome menus for touch devices. They claimed for over a year they wouldn't change the spacing but were forced to when it hit the stable channel and backlash became too great.

Loaded very easily, but none of the apps work and nor does the apps store. Clearly something has gone wrong, and looking at others comments my problem is not too usual. The problem is that there are no error messages.
Same here. All desktop functions work, but none of the "universal" or "modern" apps will launch. Both Edge and Store flash on screen briefly and then close with no error msg.
