Never assume anything! There's a little saying that goes with that, but I won't quote it here.
Windows 10, Pro, Technical Preview, Evaluation Copy build 9926, 32 is now running nicely on two of my computers, one a ten year old Desktop and one a 6 yr old Laptop. When I installed the 64 bit version on my desktop (on a spare HD) it loaded and set up OK, but would shut down the computer randomly. The 32 bit ver. never did that.
And, the 64 bit ver. has very limited backward compatibility, while the 32 bit ver. will run the old 16 bit (DOS) programs.
So I really prefer the 32 bit version. (likewise Windows 8.1)
Setting up Windows 10 without a password is actually easy.... I have the whole process documented.

password? haven't seen any need for such...
I'll stick with x64. while 8.1 and 10 appear to be quite mem efficient, the 2GB Tablets that clutter the market today are insufficient from what I've actually seen in real use. just a little misbehavior here and there sends it over the top, and the web is full of grayware and blackware these days.
I was hoping to make it ACTUALLY fit on a "4GB" usb device - none of which actually have 4GB useable
I Just checked for updates a few minutes ago. It's still showing but won't download and install.
