Latest: Download Windows 10 Technical Preview build 9926 (expires on October 1st 2015)
I missed that finer point!
It's done now. It went pretty smooth. Some learning to do tho lol. It's only showing 2 gigs of ram. That's off a few, why? I will have to take my Cooler Master Computer Case side Panel off to re-set them. Then go from there.![]()
Finally installed Win10 9926 on a physical machine with Internet access. With the exception of the few 100 bugs I ran into, this build is very nice. Nothing major as of yet, mostly transitional issues "Where the heck did they put that?" Some operational issues "That doesn't work quite right - 3rd time is the charm". Quite a few nit picks "I really don't like how MS implemented this feature..."
But mostly "This will be great when they get past the rubber band and glue stage".
There was an error message that appeared on Notification window about file explorer. There was also a link to restart the PC to perform a repair. I clicked the link but nothing happened so I manually restarted the PC. It was just a continuous restart-repair-diagnose loop. Then it stops with a screen saying that the computer did not restart properly with a button to restart or go to advance settings. It was a hopeless situation so I just performed an image recovery. My Win 10 is back now but I don't really understand what happened.
Mine is 3.92 GB,
It's available here:
Download Windows 10 Technical Preview ISO - Microsoft Windows
They're right Edwin - the web page and the action bar say 3.92 - but the size on disc is 4115456 on my machine.
Just slightly over 4 Gb
4115456 / 1024000 = 4.19
Is the ISO smaller on your machine?
I'll assume that everyone is using the x64 ISO.
