Sorry to hear that Phil. Hopefully next time.

IMHO, if you're an MVP once, it should last forever.

Yep, and many years ago, an internal jealousy got several MVPs left out in the cold.

No biggie, though, we all moved on. We still have a link to our old PM. A bunch of us were contacted for a new "opportunity"!

    Well done Brink.

Yeah, you have to reapply on a yearly basis to remain in the program. You have to prove your worthy by listing what you have done in the past year. I finally said enough was enough and just didn't reapply. I did enjoy my time in the program. Just didn't like the way Microsoft was heading at the time.

EDIT: One perk, is you get to keep all your TechNet and My Visual Studio Enterprise (MSDN) product codes. My account expired but any keys I had claimed still work. As near as I can tell anyway. I have yet to get a invalid key or similar message when using one. I only ever use them on my personal devices. I try my best to observe the terms of use etc.

    I just noticed this.

Excellent work, Shawn. Extremely well deserved.
You would think that they would give you a GC for the Microsoft Store, too.
