    Insider Preview gone

Interesting update check a couple weeks ago, I've been on it since it was called Technical Preview then went to Insider Preview Dev channel and during the check it wanted to do the compatibility for Win11 instead. I ended up with Win11 installed even though the computer can't meet the specs. However, it won't get me back to Win10 IP unless I do a fully clean reinstall.

W10 Insider Programme is effectively dead now. MS will not be issuing Beta and Dev builds any more. The Release Preview ring may still be active perhaps so you get any cumulative security updates a bit early. However there will not be any feature updates.

So not being able to get back to W10 IP is meaningless now as effectively nothing to go back to.

In the end, this is why I upgraded to W11 as W10 id stagnant now. Whether people like it or not, W11 is the future until W12, W14, W15 etc come along (I am assuming W13 will be a W9 clone LOL).

Also, people on Insider Programme could update to W11 (depending on when you updated) were able to update even if PC was not fully compatible.
