    Which is better ? WIN11 or WIN10 21H2

Hi everyone, i'm new here. I read that 21H2 is avaliable for download in ms preview channel and should be out to the
public soon. So anyone know what's the difference between win11 and 21H2 ?

Hi, the really quite easy way is to try Win 11 in a virtual machine for yourself.

There are also plenty of articles about Win 11.

One really obvious point to note is that the taskbar in Win 11 is a lot less functional than Win 10's.

21H2 is insignificant in this respect.

The Win 11 Store will be available in Win 10 soon.

Win 11 is less customisable. There's even a rumour MS will introduce rounded corners in Win 10!

Windows 11 is basically just Windows 10 with some components arranged differently. It comes down to personal preference. I prefer the Windows 11 arrangement of things.

    Hi,
Depends how you use the start menu and if you use taskbar toolbar option on 10
Taskbar toolbar is nonexistent on 11

Start menu can not default to show just all apps list on 11 and narrowed if you remove all pinned items/ live titles
Terminal is no big deal it defaults to power shell

There are still tons of legacy menus like power options/.... seems more like a rushed for the holidays product sells pitch than "new os"

Otherwise really no big deal I'm keeping 10 and I'll swap and use both.

Snappy has been the funniest term used for 11
10 is pretty snappy too lol

Apart from the start menu I doubt whether the average user would notice any difference -- however W11 is probably by no means at its final evolution yet.

    Cheers

Win11 installed a month ago, is 21H2. Got Win10 21H2 on a few computers yesterday. Some things that were on the Start button are now on the right-click of the Start button along with Settings and Task Manager [3 finger salute is still the same]. PowerShell on the right-click of the Start button has been replaced by Terminal [which is much the same as on Linux and Mac OS X], actually the centering of the Taskbar is like the Dock on Mac OS X and a couple three distros of Linux such as one of the PCLinuxOS desktops.
