In all previous versions of Windows there was always some creative people that created add ons to restore previously deprecated features.

Is there any that restore the old Start menu or Taskbar functions that can be added on to W11 yet?

Yes, it's called ExplorerPatcher (EP) and it's on GitHub. I use it alongside Open-Shell (4.4.170), Battery Mode, TranslucentTB (UWP app), and 7+ Taskbar Tweaker. With this specific combination, there's way too many features to describe them all, it goes beyond restoring features that went missing over the years (some of which date all the way back to Windows XP), as there also are features that should have been added by M$ a very long time ago, but never were added because $$$ is obviously more important than attempting to build a decent OS that truly favors productivity.

    Thank you.
I'll look those up. If I can feel confident that I can recreate my current work environment I would be more inclined to move on to W11.

What's annoying in any OS, Program, App, or phone upgrade is this idea that doing the same task in a different place is an improvement.
Like moving ratty old furniture around in the room.
    Much better!

But I would hate to be in charge of compiling all the suggestions and complaints coming in when getting the changes made according to what people want. At least I can add my thoughts, good or bad, to the list.
