A question about linking an MS account to the Windows Insider program.

I have Windows 10 (retail) on another PC, Windows 10 (OEM) on this PC, and Windows 11 (leaked ISO version) also on this PC. I'd like to join the Windows Insider program and have it affect only the Windows 11 installation. Does linking Windows Insider to a Microsoft account affect ALL windows installations using that account, or only the particular Windows installation from which Windows Insider was chosen?

For the "Does linking Windows Insider to a Microsoft account affect ALL windows installations using that account", I have 2 Microsoft accounts and I see 4 RTM computers on one account and 3 RTM computers plus 1 IP Dev computer on the other account. All are Win10 x64 but the IP Dev shows Win11 x64. The account for the IP Dev goes back to when the Technical Preview became available and the newer is when Microsoft announced they would be changing from Hotmail to Outlook.com [which took much longer than they figured to get merged].

Oh, good. My Windows 10 installations are safe. Thank you.

You're welcome. I should also have noted those are all different computers, no VMs. And each account can have up to 10 machines.

    HI Axle,

When you choose the insider program on your computer, it only affects that computer. Please mark Berton's answer as solved.
