If I ever see Windows 11 again, it will be in 2025. What a PITA. I kept losing the network, Defender would not stay on, and Storage sense did not remove windows.old. Firefox would not start. It also had issues trying to use Right Clivk.
Good thing it is only downloading at 70kps per second right now. I’ll create an another back up just in case!

I got Win11 IP Dev early this morning automatically. It shouldn't have installed because of missing two things that were on the Requirements list, 1 is that there is no TPM and 2 is that it can't boot UEFI, no settings for either in the BIOS.

Of interest is PowerShell on the Start menu is replaced by Windows Terminal [2 items with second as Admin] and the Properties item is missing although Command Prompt still has it. There's different sounds from what Win10 gave such as for items on the Action Center but the Notification Area has changed and there is no Peek on the Taskbar. That's just a few of the changes, sure I'll find more as I go forward.

I had to modify the iso to get it to install. I hope for the next build it will actually let me download and install it.

    Hi,
Yeah I wouldn't give win-11 another thought let the insiders have their fun and let 11 go for now
Most security nonsense will have tons of workarounds to install it later same as now.

Not sure why anyone would want to use bitlocker anyway on an ssd.

    Hi Noah,

It seems that you have a lower than 8th gen processor, even though you can upgrade to 11 and it's completely fine. Microsoft may not give you updates on your computer.

Yes, the Microsoft app is having issues but they took it down, it should be ready by October 5th. There is a download for the Pc Health Check up in the insider page,

I already solved this issue a while back. Thanks for the help though. I solved the issue by modifying the ISO to let me install it.

    HI Noah,

Yes, I understand you modified the ISO to get it to run but Windows Update won't' provide you updates. I understand that you have everything but an unsupported processor. users have been kicked out of the program and wont receive updates.

I have these same issue on my Surface pro 5 on Windows 11. So, I switched back to 10, it is best to keep a up to date OS.

Also note that I did have a few BSOD"s, please be careful

I have been careful and I create daily back ups. No BSOD’s yet and I have had only a few issues.
