Kari's tutorial mentions 2 places where you might find the esd file -

Notice please: the folder C:\RecoveryImage is the default location of Windows 10 TP install.esd file if you installed the upgrade. If you have moved the file in another location or you have downloaded the installation files but not upgraded yet or if the upgrade has failed, you'll might find the install.esd file in a hidden folder C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources.

If you were to take the time to read what I posted you will find that I did have hidden files shown and I also posted that I have no recovery partition. I even posted an image of my Drive setup. I am really getting tired of repeating myself.

You'll need to show hidden files and folders to see it.
If you would have taken the time to read what I posted you would see that I had Hidden Files shown and that I have no recovery partition as shown below. The C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources was removed when I ran the disk cleanup tool which I also posted. Kari did not have a problem with what I posted and I don't know why you do? I am getting tired of repeating myself. would go on by showing the link but what would the purpose be.:) I also posted that I no longer even needed the ISO as there will be another Insider Build out soon enough.

Did the quote not also say:

"Notice please: the folder C:\RecoveryImage is the default location of Windows 10 TP install.esd file if you installed the upgrade. ..."

So, since it appeared you had already done the upgrade, I thought you might look there as well.

And, yeah, I read your post. No need to be so rude.

Oh, and BTW, your comment about having hidden files showing was in a whole 'nother thread.

I'm just curious.. how does Kari's opinion about this matter in the least bit. He's neither a mod or an admin and they're the opinions that matter. And posting a link to a non MS site is risky due to possible embedded malware/virus etc. That's the point.

And I'm amazed that you didn't copy the install.esd before you did a disk clean up.
