    how to leave windows insider

I joined release preview channel to get the Windows 10 20H2 build. but now i've got it i want to leave the program. The Windows Insider Programme page is still showing i'm signed up to receive release preview channel. i clicked on "leave the insider program" it goes to Windows Insider and click sign-in but it shows "This email address is not registered as a Windows Insider". I tried earlier to leave to maybe i already left. but why is it showing i'm still signed up for release preview channel?

It uses your Microsoft Account email address, so you might try logging in to your account directly to see if it actually works.

Otherwise, it may be a temporary issue with the Insider site.

Just go to the windows insider website and at the bottom the will be a link that says "leave Program" click on it it the go to Endows Update and go to where it says "Windows Inside" and check stop receiving builds, then restart and you should be out. If not go to settings/apps and click on " The Feed Back Hub" And click advanced then reset. Restart and the Login into the Feedback Hub with your users name and pin or PW. I have done this procedure many times in the last 6 years and it does work.

Sounds like the OP already tried that.

I just tried signing in to the "leave" site with a known good Insider email address, and after signing in, it the progress circle just spins.

I can sign in to the standard Insider site with no issues.

Looks like it's on their end.

Then you are no longer in it, go to WU and them Click on The Link at the Bottom that says "Windows Insider Program" The click on Stop receiving builds when a new Release is out" or some such thing, it will ask you to reboot, do so then look at The Hub, and if it still shows you in it just reset it.
