    20H2 update.


    Did anyone get a CU update for 20H2 to brink it to 19042.572 to get it ready to upgrade 2004?
    Seems like the next step

    Nope. Won't be a big fanfare of any kind. 99% of what it will be you already have. 19041.xxx to 19042.xxx will just be a quick Enablement Package Cumulative, like 1903>1909.

I'm running Windows 10 build 1909 and that is running good. Do I REALLY need to update to build 20H2?? I've looked around about 20H2 and can't find a reason that suggests I have to update. Thanks for the help

I have tried several times to update, it goes well it seems, then upon restart it balks, collects information to restart, and fails. So I do the deed of doing this sequence two more times to get startup repair to revert, then it will reboot. All...
as part of check for updates program built into win10. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 I did this on a PC not being offered the update, and it worked flawlessly.
20h2 update freezes at 100%

There was another update right before that one that froze at 100% also anyone else have that problem? Thanks! :-)
