    20170 build killed my Creative Sound Blaster Recon3Di Control Panel!


    Current Build: Insider Preview 20170 x64

    This latest build a swell as the previous build have killed my Creative Sound Blaster Recon3Di Control Panel!! This means that I no longer have the ability to configure and use it's THX TruStudio Pro capabilities!! THX gave me really good sound even just on a two speaker laptop!!

    I have uninstalled (several times!) everything Creative using Revo Uninstaller Pro, everything Creative in the registry and manually deleted all Creative and Sound Blaster folders and files then rebooted.

    Then I have reinstalled the latest drivers and software for my Creative Sound Blaster - which has to be done in Safe Mode in order to do a successful install - then rebooted.

    Task Manager shows the Creative services are running and the Sound Blaster Recon3Di Control Panel are running - but it isn't because there is no SB icon on my Taskbar!!

    Any help appreciated. I really miss that THX sound even on my old laptop.
