Leaving Insider

I've decided to leave Insider and go into W10 so what do I need to do? Thanks

Install a version of Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 that you have a license for. Ensure that it is activated. Do the free upgrade to Windows 10 from it.

That depends on how you started the program. If you originally did an upgrade install of the preview, then you need only go to the Windows Update page in settings, click Advanced Settings, the "Stop Insider Builds".

If you originally installed clean, however, then you will have to do as Navy suggests, and re-install Windows 7 or 8.x and do an upgrade. If you first did an upgrade then clean installed at some point later, you are also good to just stop the insider builds, so long as you upgraded from 7/8.x at least once on the hardware you are currently using.

And once you've done an upgrade from a valid activated 7 or 8.1, you can subsequently do a clean install - MS servers will "know" your machine, and it will be activated.
