Unable to remove annoying blue windows

    But I as well as other users already had problems even before having these HDD issues.

    Then wait for MS to fix. You are using a testing OS.

    Microsoft already stated they had fixed it and that the 19041.208 build is the RTM.

    I would assume then that the fix is not complete.

    I had suggested earlier doing an inplace repair which you did not want to do because of disk.

    You could do a clean install but again there would be heavy work load on disk.

    So we are in no man's land.

    Can't apply possible fixes because of disk and no plans to change disk.


    Have you tried DISM

    Use DISM to Repair Windows 10 Image

    I didn't want to do it not because of the disk but because I had done one recently.

    What effect may have an in-place upgrade install or a clean install on a disk?

    Just work load.

    A clean install means you are installing everything from scratch. Not sure how many programs or ho much data you have.
