    Thumbnails disappeared in 2004

I have been looking high, and low, for a solution to thumbnails not working in 2004 (19619.), and they worked with the preceding build. But strange thing is, it's totally junk in OneDrive. But if I move a folder (or copy it) from OneDrive to another HDD, thumbnails everywhere! What?!?! Anybody got any ideas? I've done all manner of solutions littered all over tenforums.com, and more (answers.microsoft.com). What gives?

Did you try putting a Thumbs.DB file in the folder? And if you didn't know Thumbs.DB is basically a file that makes the thumbnails appear

In Windows, what are thumbs.db files and how do I get rid of them?

In Windows, thumbs.db files are database files containing the small images displayed when you view a folder in Thumbnail view (as opposed to Tile, Icon, List, or Detail view). These files are automatically generated by Windows, and there is no harm in deleting them or excluding them from system backups.
