Took longer than expected due to issues with capture.

You forgot to minimize the media player.

As in your video if the media player is open on the desktop active thumbnails do work.

But if the media player is minimized all you will get is a static image. With Windows 10 builds "1909 18363.592" and earlier you always got a active thumbnail even when the media player was minimized.

Try it you will see what i mean.

Okay so taskbar thumbnail previews do work with media players minimized. i just tested but have to point out that I'm on 1909.

What we need is someone else with the same build to say that it works for them.

Yes I already said on 1909 active thumbnails do work with media players minimized.

They stopped working with the very first build after "1909 18363.592"

I am just wondering if this is a bug or if it was done on purpose for some strange reason.

O well looks to me Microsoft changed this on purpose and will not be fixing it.

I have left so much feedback on the feedback app and Microsoft just ignores me.
