Notebook: Installed latest Win10 Insider 1122 , install halts at 49%

Good afternoon all,

Been running Win10 insider on my notebook for many months and today there was a huge update. Took eons to install and I now have the following issue.



She does not get past 49% , not even after 4 hrs waiting.

Tried rebooting, running ccleaner, rebooting, redownloading and starting the install again but that did not fix this.

Any suggestions?

Hi Pluginz. No other hardware, only a wireless mouse. Will remove that and retry.

I tried it with wireless mouse / transmitter removed, same problem.

Also tried resetting Windows Update as recommende by FreeBooter in message https://www.tenforums.com/general-su...ml#post1771367 , but that did not help either

My Insider Preview Fast Ring is now downloading Version 1903 Build 19030.1, should update over Build 19028.1 which so far is running good.

Windows just offered me version 10.0.19025.1025

That is the latest Slow Ring roll-up fix build. Is that what you were expecting? You don't state, but if you think you are on Fast Ring, you may not be. Just FYI.....

I spotted an error code in update history logs. When I am back on my notebook I will post that error code in this thread, perhaps that will be of help.

My question on Expecting meant "what build were you expecting?".

You can check what Ring you are on by going to Updates and click the Insider Program link bottom left. That will tell you where you are, and you can change to Fast if you want to. Slow Ring gets very few updates.
