how to opt out of windows insider preview builds ?

I have message under windows insider: You may continue to receive windows insider builds ultil your PC restarts. And below is buttot restart. I tried that and i had still this message here. How to opt out of windows insider ?
I may add yet, that i already opted out. But it didn't work, it should cancel since 1903 build already is released. And only other option i found reinstall, which is not an option for me.

You can opt out before major version is released (before it was updated to 1903...). You could revert to the state before update, opt out and upgrade to 1903.

If you have any system image (Macrium...) from before upgrade, you can do that.

I had to use tool from windowstweaking.com, it is legit software for windows repair. And than it allowed me to opt out LOL. While it makes no sense you normally couldn't, it didn't even warn me, geez you have to paranoid about everything today time, so hard to write warning for microsoft apperently...

This is the best way to opt out AND install the updates when and if you want them without re-joining.

1) Revert back to ANY W10 build before you did the insider stuff e,g join etc etc. This will "reset" your join status and you won't be in any of the rings you signed up for.

2) To then install new builds etc use UUPDUMP to down load and create an iso -- then you can run the setup and either clean / upgrade at will without being a member of any insider rings. "Seeeemplees…."!

On the UUPDUMP site chose edition you want, language and then just run the script. This will create an iso which you can use to upgrade or clean install. For clean install use RUFUS to create a bootable USB device from the iso.
