Windows Insider preference for each PC

If we login to the same windows account for more than one PC..
is there a way to have one PC be part of windows insider programme to get the earlier updates
and another pc not be part of insider?

From what I understand, all PCs would get sync with the same settings.

Also is the windows insider >fast, safe to join and get updates from or it is better to be part of the slow updates?

I've numbered your questions so I can answer them in order:

    1. Each of you should have your own account. User #1 and User #2 as an example. You can use these accounts on as many PCs as you wish. Example: I have one dual-boot desktop, one dual boot laptop and one single boot laptop. I have two accounts I use to log into each of these machines as I choose. Wynona can log into those PCs she has an account on, as can Wynona#2.

    2. I'm assuming you have two PCs. You want one to have Windows 10 Production (stable machine) and the other one to have an Insider version of Windows 10. As stated in #1, create a user account for each of you on each machine.

    3. If you have a different OS on each machine, it shouldn't be able to sync with the other because of the differences.

    2. Being an Insider means you are testing "previews" of the next version of Windows 10. It depends on how savvy you are as to whether you should choose the Fast Ring or Slow Ring. Choosing the Fast Ring will give you more problems than choosing the Slow Ring. You will receive less updates through the Slow Ring than you will with the Fast Ring.

I log into most of my machines with the same microsoft account and have both standard and insider builds with the same MS account. The insider settings are associated with your device and so there is no conflict or risk of a machine that is not on an insider build being changed.

The level of syncing between builds is variable - most settings are synced but I have found that this is an area that MS needs to work on, for example not all insider builds seem to get the same Edge favourites as my main PC.

The fast and skip ahead channels are the same at the moment and provide the 20H1 builds. My guess is the slow channel will be exploring the 19H2 builds now that 1903 has been released, so it is a matter for how adventurous you are and how much risk you want to take.

so if we login to each pc with the same microsoft account..
even though one pc is joined to the insider program, it does the not mean the other pc is also joined (due to microsoft account syncing)?

do you join all your PCs to insider FAST ring or some some pc to the slow ring
and do you leave your main daily usage PC out of the insider programme (to avoid possible bugs affecting your main pc)

the biggest bug last year was the one that wiped out some people's documents folder

See my answers in the quote box. I should add that I also use virtual machines for some of the insider builds.
