Can't install 19H1 cause of a Paragon Software driver?

I can't seem to be able to install to the current slow ring cause of this:

2019-03-13 19:34:53, Error CONX 0xd0000034 Failed to add user mode driver [%SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\UMDF\winfuse_blockmounter.dll]

My googling didn't yield much info other than knowing it's Paragon Softwares,
and i don't have anything installed from there (But surely had, think some kound of mounter so the name make sense).

But not sure how to resolve it as i don't just want to remove it manually (if it's even possible),
but want Windows do actually remove it correctly.

    Any ideas?

If you know which Paragon product was installed, you can reinstall it, then install e.g. Revo uninstaller or Geek uninstaller, and start the uninstallation from that program. The normal uninstaller will run, then a scan to clean up leftovers.

    Can those remove drivers safely?
    Aren't they just registry cleaners?

Not a big fan of those, cause never had them improve anything,
and searching how they work and how Windows work tells me it serves no real purpose.
And i have used them a ton before as i saw all those errors and thought, yay this is great fixing;D!

But if i am wrong please do tell why:)

You are wrong I'm afraid.. They are not registry cleaners in the sense you mean. They start by running the program's installer, then scan for and offer to delete remnants. Authors don't always write their uninstallers with 100% accuracy,

As to whether they find ALL remnants, well that's another matter.

The Pro version of Revo, for example, can monitor and record all changes made when something is installed: you can the use that database to completely uninstall the monitored program.

This forum does not advocate the use of registry cleaners - threads discussing those mention 'snake oil' and point to no benefits, plenty of risk.

    Ah i stand corrected.

Yeah 'snake oil' was the word i was looking for!

I tried installing and uninstalling Paragon Backup & Recovery 17 Free (which i think i had installed before, according to program files at least) with Geek Uninstaller,
it detected some stuff, but it didn't remove the drivers (winfuse_blockmounter.dll).
I tried finding it in the Device Manager (hidden), but can't see anything that seems related there.
Would have thought that it should be available somewhere as i guess it's at least loaded.

    EDIT:

Looking in the program folder, it has that dll there when installed,
so i guess for some reason it has been copied to the system folder as well?

Whether it detects it or not may depend on whether there are references to it that it looks for in the registry. There's no guarantee it will detect all remnants, of course.

Interesting that there are 2 occurrences - good you've detected that.

You may be left with manually scanning the registry for Paragon references- but with due caution- back up appropriately beforehand.

You could also try with Revo, but it may be that the driver in question is, for whatever reason, not related to the program you've just installed.

I did try checking for any Paragon clean-up tool without immediate success - you could have a look for one yourself.

I think i have solved that driver issue, at least it doesn't complain on it anymore.
I basically uninstalled the drivers when the application was installed (they were available in Device Manager then).
So i guess it actually uninstalls them with the application, but it didn't remove at least one of them completely? odd:s

    Now the error is this:
