    Eval Copy Expires in December

I get windows insider. However, I am not really too interested in what it is. I know using it is a mistake. But, I have used some features and I want to keep getting it please :)

I did just notice "WINVER" I am running an "Evaluation Copy" which expires 12/18/2018. Ive been getting insider builds for a long time. However, I never paid attention. Has this always been the case? Is there always an exp date on it? Should I care?

    Thanks!

Each and every Insider build has had an expiration date since the first one was released back in October 2014. Expiration date on latest Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast Ring Build 17723 & Skip Ahead Build 18204 which were released yesterday is December 14th, 2018.

That expiration date will most probably be the same in a few next Insider builds, but rest assured, sometime closer to December it will change to a new date. Using Insider builds, your Windows 10 will not expire, expiration date being always set to so far in the future and new builds that push that date even further in the future will be released before expiration.
