Windows Insider Programme Button Greyed Out

    Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone can help me because I'm really baffled as why the Windows Insider Programme "Get Started" button is Greyed Out. I have so far done the following:

    1. Linked my local account to an online MS Account.
    2. Edited Group Polices to "Enable Preview Builds"
    3. Downloaded the .reg file and merged it.

    It's still greyed out.

    FYI, I have Windows 10 Pro 1803 (17134.165).

    Really appreciate your help.

EDIT: I might have found an issue....the .reg file for windows 1709 or later has not added any info to the registry as it still shows:

    Hi Brink.

Thank you for the links. Unfortunately none of them have made any difference and the it's still greyed out. It's like something is blocking it.

Go ahead and post a screenshot showing all of your "Windows Insider Program" settings page to see if anything may stand out.

In addition, check to see if you still have any group policies configured.

    Thanks Brink.

I've tried to post as many possible screenshots just inc ase you spot something. Other than these screens, I'm wondering if the issue is due to me linking a MS Account to a Local Account???

You do need to be signed in to Windows 10 with a Microsoft account instead though.

How does Settings look if you set the Manage preview builds policy to Not Configured?

As you can see below, I've linked my local "Admin" account to an MS email, the settings show that I've signed in:

....Is this sufficient or have I missed anything?

The look of Settings still seems to be the same to me:

Yep, your account should be fine to be able to get Insider builds.

What does your "Windows Insider Programme" page look like now in Settings?

    No change :

....I don't know why, but I get the feeling the issue is with the registry missing the settings. Unless you can think of something else????

Odd. If you like, you could see if a repair install may be able to fix this for you without losing anything.
