Yeah it's certainly great news... Let's hope the greyed button issue is resolved.

Bad news....Win 10 has just finished upgrading / repairing...button still greyed out

Even the update group policies seem to be unaffected:

In that case, a reset should sort it, but it will wipe everything.

Thanks for all your help and support mate. Unfortunately I've got too much information to lose, so I might just have to live without the Windows insiders programme.

I still think it's either an issue with regedit missing some info or it's because there is a group policy restricting something. Only way would be to somehow resetting these.

Setting all policies to "Not Configured" will be their default setting, or you could use this below to quickly reset them back to default to see if it may help.

The group polices seem to have now resetted. As you can see in the background, there is now no message stating that there are policies being managed by the administrator:

However, the Windows Insider button is still greyed out. I'm going to look into somehow adding the missing keys in regedit...maybe that will fix the issue.

You wouldn't be able to just copy the ISO to a USB and be able to boot from the USB. Instead, you could use Option One below to create it directly.

A repair install will automatically activate with your current product key, but the tutorial below will show you how to find it.

Huh - I am confused - you do not boot from flash drive to do a repair install?
