Microsoft removed/permanently disabled the Status bar in File Explorer

The Status Bar gone in File Explorer in latest Insider Preview builds!

It's still in the registry and it's enabled for Explorer in the registry but it does NOT show any more!

I have been used to using this for decades like many other users so why did Microsoft remove/permanently disable it?

I cannot see why they would want to do that!

Which Insider build? It's likely to be a bug, you should report it in the Feedback Hub.

As far as I can make out, that is currently the latest build on the Slow ring. You'd need to go Fast ring or Skip-ahead to get a higher build.

My Build on the Fast Ring is 17713 so 17692 is an older Build. On mine it still shows the number of items in a Folder and if clicking on 1 item in a Folder it shows 1 item selected. I can still make a change in Options, View tab.

    Hi there

I think it's broken in standard Windows after latest update too.

    Cheers

It still works on several of my fully-up-to-date Version 1803 Build 17134.191.
