Thats likely where the separate bits show up, and get packaged into the final kit. The year marker puck comes from one source, your ID card etc likely from someplace else.

I think even just the puck itself was made in China. It's off!

The lettering on my trophy is slanted, not level. My name and the Blue Windows Insider MVP shown in your picture. Not a lot, but just enough to be noticeable. The blue year markers are off a bit too but line up straight if I slid the bottom one out a little. I didn't renew so no 2018 marker for me.
