    Insider build failure

    Hi

I am currently running Windows 10 Insider Preview 17677.1000 (rs_pre release) installed on 05/26/2018 because
Windows 10 Insider Preview 17682.1000 (rs_pre release) failure attempt on 01/06/2018 and Windows 10 Insider Preview 17686.1003 (rs_pre release) failure attempt on06/08/2018 despite 3 attempts to install both Releases.
    Both errors contained 0xc1900101
This is the information I received regarding the failures:
Your windows insider build ran into a problem and needs to restart.
We're just collecting some eror info and then you can restart.
    100%
    Stop Code: System Service Exception
    What failed: afd

I would appreciate some assistance/advice to find a solution for this problem and have attached the error log
which might be of assistance for our computer gurus.

Have you tried building and/or downloading an ISO for the 17682 release, and installing that locally using Setup.exe? When I have trouble with upgrades through Windows Update, I try the manual/local install next. 8 times out of 10 that works when the WU upgrade fails. That's what I'd recommend trying next. You can use UUP Dump and the UUP2ISO tool to create the ISO you'll need. @Kari has a great tutorial on how to do this: UUP to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 Build Upgrade Files | Windows 10 Tutorials.

Many thanks to everyone that provided support because of the dilemma I am faced with.
After countless hours trying to overcome the problem I have decided to opt out of the Windows Insiders program.
I can't afford the time on this issue.

    Thanks again

Ed, based on the dates mentioned I'd guess the OP was on the Skip Ahead instead of Fast Ring.
