    One Drive Constantly Disappearing

I am on Build 17682 now but this has happened on the last few builds. Every time I do a restart my One Drive disappears. I have to run the One Drive Setup to get it back. Since this happens on every restart, I created a shortcut and pinned it to the taskbar (no having to search for it each time). It's just an inconvenience but was wondering if there is a permanent cure for it.

Here's an interesting article from Ivan Jenic at WindowsReport that describes some things to check, and some possible fixes that could be more lasting. Full Fix: OneDrive is missing from File Explorer in Windows 10
Sorry for your troubles, and HTH,

PS: Love your "shortcut workaround." That's a great example of adaptibility. Good on you!

Thanks for the reply. It made me do a little extra looking. I found that in the One Drive settings that the box to start One Drive when Windows was started was not checked. Put check mark in the box, all problems solved More space on taskbar.

It's always something, right? Glad you got it sorted. And thanks for sharing your solution here: it will probably help somebody else in the same boat, too. Good work!
