How do You Test?

As Windows Insiders, we get frequent updates to Windows 10 Preview. So, what else is new?

Aside from backing up the current system and then allowing Windows Update to do its thing, what else do you do to test Windows 10 Previews?

I remember reading a post some months ago that went into real detail of everything the member checked out on the system. I wish I’d kept a copy of that post, but I didn’t.

I got an Insider Email with the following paragraph:

"In fact, we’ve already released several RS5 Windows 10 Insider Preview builds in the Fast Ring. These builds contain the much-anticipated “Sets” feature along with some very interesting updates to features like copy-paste, Windows Search, Notepad and more."

If that’s so, and it really is included in my Insider Preview, then how to I find it? I sure would like to test it. 😊

I'm ready to learn more about Windows 10 through testing . . . Hopefully, I’m not alone.

Insider? No thanks - I find enough bugs in the release versions to keep me busy/entertained! Usually just by a lot of use of all the thing I'd normally use until it falls over. I'd guess Insider do the same. 1803 seems to have more than the usual crop of '1st month' teething troubles

Thanks, Shawn. I have that downloaded and printed but find it ironic that Microsoft says they gave it to all of us, yet a whole bunch of us can't find it. :)

That's the way I've been doing it too, Bree, except that I have more guts than sense, so I'm an Insider. :)

I want to delve deeper, though, and can't imagine I'm the only one who'd like more info on how to do that.
