    I have the XP versions copied from my old XP box. No install needed, you just copy the *.exe, *,chm and cards.dll to a folder and run them from there.

    Downside is that they can look too small on a high res monitor. Their default window size is about 1/4 of the screen area on my 1366x768 laptop, which I find acceptable.

    Upside is that Windows 10 upgrades don't uninstall them, as they do for W7 games.

    Yes - I use it to. The best solitaire game ever and totally portable !

    If you like cards, just buy Solsuite - 700 solitaire games ($10 at the moment), I buy it every 2-3 years.
