MVP Summit Travelogue Day 1: Off to Seattle
As I write this, I'm flying west from Austin to Phoenix aboard American Airlines. After a brief layover, it's off to Seattle, and then by bus to the Residence Inn in downtown Bellevue. Today's a pretty easy day, except for having to get up before 5 AM to catch this plane. I'm a little bit excited to go do something I've never done before, and meet lots of new people and learn new and hopefully interesting stuff. I'm also a little bit apprehensive for the very same reasons. But I'm glad to be going, because it's a break from my comfortable routine and should help me do a better job of writing about Windows 10 for my blogs and articles. Shoot! It might even come in handy for my daily efforts here at TenForums.
You, dear readers, will have to be the judge of that!
What I'll be doing for the next 4 days is reporting on what I'm doing, where I'm going, and -- to the extent that the NDA all MVPs must sign allows -- on what I'm seeing, hearing and learning. If anybody has burning questions or concerns they need communicated to the Win10 team in general, or the Insider folks in particular, I'm willing to try to carry those things to them and report back on what kinds of reactions I get. I'm not sure how much time I'll have to do that kind of thing, so please don't load me down too heavily.
Wish me luck and safe travels. I'll be popping back in daily (and probably a couple more times today in this thread) to add observations, reflections, and other (hopefully read-worthy) tidbits.
