    Timeline not working for me

I have installed the latest insider build 17063 without an issue. Unfortunately, the new Timeline feature does not work. All I see when clicking the taskview button (or CTRL +Tab) is the usual Desktop view. Any ideas? I haven't seen any complaints elsewhere but I doubt I am the only one.

    Hello Mark, :)

Do you have activity history turned on for your account?

Yes. Account activity is turned on. I can even see some of my web activity in my account online but nothing on the desktop. It looks exactly like it did before the update.

Did the Task View icon change for you?

Yes. It is the 'new' icon.

For whatever reason, it now is working!!! I didn't do anything that I know of? Was it merely a matter of time? Anyway, thanks for your responses.

Sometimes it needs a bit of time collecting your activity history before it shows in Timeline.

I'm glad to hear it's working for you now.

OK, I was wrong--Timeline is still not working. I upgraded by laptop to build 17063 and the timeline feature works as advertised. There are many cards shown over the period December 9 to the present. Nothing shows on my desktop computer. I also upgraded another desktop--and it has the same issue as my regular desktop. It only shows opened apps. Could it be related to my login?

Go ahead and post a screenshot showing what you're seeing to see if anything may stand out. Be sure to blank out any personal info in the screenshot.

Thanks again for your prompt responses! This morning I looked more carefully at my laptop. It shows two Microsoft accounts--one is my primary and one is an alias. My desktop computers do not show the alias account. The alias account used to be my primary account but I then switched it (about a year ago) so that my email address ends in 'outlook.com' . I added my alias to one of my desktop computers as an administrator with the right to sign in. Suddenly, all of the cards that showed up on my laptop also showed up on my desktop. Frankly, it doesn't make sense to me since both accounts are Microsoft accounts and one is merely an alias of the other. Both have the same password as well. I haven't tried it yet on my other desktop.
