It stops , for sure, with next upgrade to RedStone5 , so could be handy if you know how to; install/version/uninstall previous yes/no/etc. Before the upgrade .
Questions which I dont have a good ( working) answer for , yet............
    Carefully.....

By then one of the nightly builds should be stable unless it is going to just keep being in nightly like certain game console emulators and dd-wrt. Then just pick the one that runs and maybe update it only if you have issues.

If I were sent to Mars, with only one computer, and it ran W10.
If I had to use the W10 Start menu (designed by young programmers, not Analysts), and I had the ability to alter the flight path, I would aim for the sun.

I can't think of anything to say that won't sound nasty, so I guess I'll just sit on my typing fingers . . . nope . . . not gonna. I'm just wondering why you're in the Windows Ten Forums if you hate Windows 10 that badly.

    Just hate the Start Menu

    Sorry,
I thought I clarified that it was the Start Menu that I hate
    (Classic Shell fixes that)

Not really, but I guess I misread. Personally, I find the Start Menu in Windows 10 quite satisfactory if I get rid of all those silly tiles. I installed Open Shell, but it's just too confusing; I'll probably reinstall it later, when I have more time to play.

I'm certainly not going to guide my space ship into the sun just because I don't care for it!

Don't worry- hang around for about 6bn years (estimates vary) and the Sun'll come and get you anyway. But I doubt we'll be still talking about MS's start menu then.

I dunno, Dalchina! This thread has lasted quite awhile, and is really quite interesting.

Yes, there really are quite a few of us that really like Classic Shell, it really saved us from Windows 8 and we've just liked the configurability of it has kept us hooked. Most of us don't have touch screens and we have always had our computers desktops set up a certain way and we didn't like MS trying to push us into smart Phone mode. So yes were all hoping the GitHub crew will be able to keep this program going.

I use/keep both - so I can learn to use Window 10 Start Menu just in case, and because I prefer Classic Start (Open Shell). It doesn't present a problem and right now Open Shell is working fine for probably as long as long as I will live.
