My point exactly, Clint. We should be able to use Classic Shell if that's what we want to use. And, if we don't want to use it, that should be fine too. Along with any other app, whether it be a MS app or a third party app.

Like I've said before, I tried Classic Shell way back when, and found I didn't like it very much. I've been watching and reading this thread, and finally decided to see why everyone has given it such glowing reviews.

I put version 4.3.1 on Skip Ahead Build 18214 but didn't go further than the default installation; thus, I thought it would work. It looks like the default without any changes works, but @f14 tomcat went a little deeper and it's not there yet. So, I may go back to the one that will work, if I can find it.

I will say that I like what I've seen, and come to think on it, maybe I'll just leave well enough alone and see if it continues to be viable if I don't change anything.
The link is on the first page of this thread Releases . Open-Shell/Open-Shell-Menu . GitHub 4.4.109 is good for both 1803 and going foward it was produced for the insider versions that were failing on the CS version.

@Wynona ..... just to add a note to what @Clintlgm posted. When you go to the site, ignore everything else you see and click where I have indicated in the pic. GitHub can be a bit difficult to maneuver if you're not used to it. TC .....

I think the question is, why does MS constantly (every 6 months) break/remove features that people have used, without issue, for many years?....
MS programmers are Millenials who grew up touching icons on a screen. They don't want to read anything.
To them, all PC's should function like iPhones.

I think most of the work in this release is re-branding to Open Shell.
