Well, the upgrade seemed to go fine, but I've just noticed that every single shortcut on my start menu for non-Windows Store apps have disappeared. Also, Paint seems to have disappeared entirely.

Yeah. All tiles for non-UWP apps (Photoshop, Steam, Afterburner etc.) disappeared after the upgrade.

It's all here and at same order as left, unlike with 17025 when some were missing and all reverted to default as in clean install.

Well, now I wish I'd thought to make an ISO. Eh, I was planning on doing a clean install soon anyway, so I guess I'll pop back to FCU and then wait on the next build.

OK Insider Team. Here is build 17037 up on buildfeed.
    10.0.17037.1000 (rs_prerelease.171107-1443)

How do I get it? Did it work with AMD? BTW build 17041 is already up as the latest canary? Does it work? Why is the no information from D.S. Did she get lost in a Lisbon bar or something? Yes I'm pissed and the blithe atttude of a few on this forum is disconcerting.
The phrase "toys out of the pram" comes to mind.

Not all canary builds make it to the fast ring. This is not done to annoy insiders it is because they are not stable enough for release.

Is that a personal issue, Edwin, or are you referring to the build?
    The Build!

Seems the upgrade process is creating dead boot loader entries and defaulting the timer to 0 every time, so I get nowhere!

Can't find any major faults, not even ones listed in Known problems. Only thing is that the problem with AMD systems in 17035 was probably solved by lowering system, specially processor and disk performance. those two dropped about 10% in the benchmark comparing to 17025.

Updated both Fast Ring and Skip Ahead in Hyper-V. No issues to report on neither. Now for testing...

Those who has issues with Windows.old not getting removed after a full disc cleanup, PM me or Mention me here and I take a look. I had leftover folders on both VMs but I could remove all of them with my usual methods.
