I have 'quality updates' set to defer by 7 days and noticed today (30th Nov) that KB4048955 installed silently yesterday on the 29th. Why did I look to see... because being end of the month I did a full disk clean and restart at which point it launched into configuring updates routine.

On windows update?

Well just got home, checked for updates. Windows found it. Let it run, clicked restart to install, went upstairs and come back to machine stuck on splash screen ASUS that just normally shows up before windows login screen appears. Been stuck there for ages! Not sure what to do

2017-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for amd64-based Systems (KB4051963) is now installing on my system. Let's see how well it completes...
