16299.64, 16299.96, MS just can not seem to get it right, again. Maybe 16299.128 will do.

I'm of the mind set and believe that MS hasn't put out a decent/functioning OS since XP and 7. Their cluster F#$% OS's IMO are Vista 8/8.1 and now 10. MS needs to take a look back at what XP and 7 did and try to modernize/update/reinvent (I don't know what the word or phrase I'm looking for to convey).

If one remembers why it took MS 5 -10 years to release a OS.....btw that actually worked as advertised.....and now MS rushes out these half a## OS with bi-annually upgrade is just madness. Then throw out there the insider group to do there work for them.....that's just insane.

In the end we are left with what is there and it is what it is. Just sad to see the over all decline of MS since Bill stepped down.

    OK...I'm done now.

well said. Don’t get me started on those bi annual updates. Or the fact they have this mantra of hitting you anytime with an update now out of nowhere. Should be once a month, second Tuesday and only then. Everyone knows where they stand then.

some people enjoy the insider stuff but it is definitely not for me. I have no interest in playing chicken with my pc. It’s dicey enough as it is on normal public builds! Don’t think they should be using the public as guinea pigs insiders or not

Oh a another tedious and boring 7 is great post.

It has so many deficiencies eg no power menu, lack of native iso support, terrible on touchscreen devices, poor driver support, task manager and print manager crash regularly, no secure boot, poor usb3 support to allow installation on pcs with only usb3, poor context menus to name a few.

8.1 technically was far superior - add a 3rd party start menu and it was far better than Windows 7.

Talking about Vista being crap but XP was great is equally tedious. XP was end of line in its development. Vista trail blazed a lot of new ideas that still get used today.

Every OS has been better than the last.

Windows 7 only belongs in one place now. An old peoples home waiting to die.

    Hi,

Oh a another tedious and boring 7 is great post.
Must say I absolutely loved it. Back then.
It's fine for office use but it's absolutely slower than 8.1 or 10 on a current HW machine for sure.
That said I would have loved to see MS further develop 7, fine tune it so to speak.

    Cheers,

Is there a brand new ISO available from the Media Creation Tool that includes this update? That is the rumour that I have heard.
