So, who - besides me - feels the whole FCU Release has been just a touch anticlimactic? Really, haven't many of us already been using 16299.15 for over a week now anyway? Not to mention 16299.19 after the .cab file download link was posted.

I guess the only REAL side effect of the official release is a "bonafide" MCT available as a download.

Now, I wonder what some of us are going to do 'til the next preview or update is available.

It's not meant to be a sea-change, just an incremental improvement and update. It should eventually become as unobtrusive as a Windows Defender update, apart from some infomercial content in Edge that lets you know what's new, better, fixed and what to look forward to.

Microsoft is sensibly trying to add value to a freely-updated Windows, with a more tangible hardware device range, and tools that are applicable to Windows and other OS developers alike.

    Interesting times ahead.
