I totally agree—should not have been released.
O...K... However, at least the percentage of folks owning Intel systems are testing. :)

No nothing until next weeks build. Whether they even mention the AMD problem at all is problematic. I could be cause to leave the program - more than any personal attacks BTW. From my perspective they are resolved since one individualshas block me.

Was going to say something else but I stifled myself - that's a + for me
Marty, you take the good with the bad and hope for the best. If you see wrong information, you diplomatically correct it and go on. If you get blocked for that, "se la vie".

All this talk about amd (I use amd) is really pointless.

It will get fixed as soon as possible.

We have no idea if fix will be a patch via uup, a full iso etc, a complete new build etc.

We just need to BE PATIENT.
Two of my systems are AMD and I guess I'll just have to wait. Do I like it? Nope, but there's nothing I can do but wait. So, that's what I'll do. As if I had a choice.

That said, I can understand why AMD system owners are a tad bit frustrated, to say the least. Bugs happen, and that's what we're here for, although there's not much we can do about this one.

I think my 14" Lenovo has Intel, so I could update that one. Probably this afternoon, just to see if I'm lucky; I've seen reports of some Intel systems not taking the update.

Yes, Wynona. I have a lappy that is intel based and actually the build runs with no major problems. I have a desktop that is also intel. I partitioned it and loaded the 17035 build on it and after a few problems getting the folks at Microsoft to activate it, it seems to run well -- compared to other reports from other members -- I am satisfied with its performance. Yes it has a few flaws but as you said - this is beta material and bugs are what were here for!

Going back to my problem, Announcing Windows 10 Insider Fast+Skip Ahead Build 17035 for PC , sorry if I got the link wrong, when I select restart the screen shows Task Host Windows error of \Microsoft\Windows\Plug and Play\ Device Install Reboot Required. Leaving it on that screen it will automatically revert to desktop. I have to select 'restart anyway'. Once selected it reboots and works well. So a driver problem? Only thing plugged and playing on the laptop is a mouse. Touch-pad works ok and nothing showing in Device Manager.

This had already been pointed out earlier in this thread.
I tried searching this forum and this thread specifically for the problem but did not find it so I reported the problem I was having. Also reported via Feedback Hub.

How would you search to find it in this thread? I think some times I get to specific when I do.
