I have been away from home most of the day. When I get home later tonight I'm going to try my desktop one more time. If it crashes I'll use my Macrium image to roll back and try again with the next build.

Finally got this installed. Now when I right click on This PC on the Desktop and select Properties, nothing happens. Works correctly (opens System) if I click Start menu, type This PC, right click and select Properties. Doesn't work if I place This PC on the Desktop or if I open This PC then right click on This PC and select Properties.

Edit: Just noticed the same problem with Network.

That's also the exact reason, why I jumped ship from this Windows IP!

This had already been pointed out earlier in this thread.

I tried using my desktop when I got home last night and the Green Screen crashes were so bad I couldn't use the computer. I couldn't even get the computer to run long enough to use sfc /scannow to check for any errors. I had to use my Macrium image to revert back to 17025. Then I ran sfc /scannow on 17025 to check for any problems. It did find and fix a couple of problems. It was getting late so I let Windows update download 17035 and changed the active hours setting so my desktop wouldn't upgrade while I was asleep. This morning I made a new ISO and install.wim file before I restarted the computer. The install to my surprise took 10 minutes. When I clicked on the icon in the start menu to start Windows I got the spinning circles for over a minute then the GSOD with the Stop code: Memory_Management error. I restarted the computer and it's been over 40 minutes and so far no crashes.

That is more of a feature than bug. It happens to me every now and then on all Windows builds I have tried, everything from initial release of Win 10 to this latest insider build. :)
It certainly looks like a feature happened now on a cold boot. Luckily I have Vivaldi browser that does open. As a matter of fact every program not Windows related opens. I can right click Action centre and Start and get the menu. Wonder if it's something to do with disabling hibernation? Just checked, file manager opens and 'properties' opens on the C drive. Mail is dead but Snipping tool opens from the task bar. Ah well off to reboot...... again.

Well bless me, just before rebooting Mail just about opened and got as far as this,

then Edge opened and the cursor was blinking in Bing's search box. Unfortunately Start and Acton Centre stubbornly refuse to open. I've previously tried DISM and SFC but neither shows anything to fix. Off to reboot

This second edit is getting embarrassing, just before rebooting then Action centre opened??

What to do? Wait a few years for everything to work or reboot?

Not editing again!! Here's what I've found. (Not rebooted yet) but if I click on Action Centre nothing happens until I right click the Start icon? Than Action Centre Opens. Clicking on, say, Settings then nothing happens until I right click Start. Clicking on Edge in the task bar and nothing happens, then I right click start then Edge only opens to a grey screen.

You do have a habit of putting yourself in the firing line - do not be surprised if people react to it e.g. which you obviously ignored. We all miss posts and get wrong end of stick now and then.
Actually, Cereberus, if I reply to this post (which I'm doing), I don't see responses to it, because I haven't read that far yet. :) So, I'm not "obviously ignoring" anything.

Just thought I'd correct a small error here . . . not from you, though. :)

I think they have permanently blocked AMD from getting the update. I can't believe its been over 2 days and still no build.
And now we're four days out . . . of course, we know Microsoft "generally" won't release anything on the weekends. Next possible day is . . . wait for it . . . Monday!
